30

When I was younger I used to have a sort of "plan" about what I thought my life would be like when I turned 30. That age felt so far away that the possibilities of things I could accomplish were endless in my mind. I would fantasize about who I would marry, where we would live, my future children's names, all the places I could travel to, how much money I would have (I'd be a millionaire by 30 for sure lol), and when I was a mom I'd never yell at my kids, I'd bake cookies and do crafts every day with them, and take them for a walk every day (after the fabulous dinner I made of course). My mansion house would always be clean and I'd be in perfect shape and pretty much everything would be fantastic. In the fantasy everything is perfect and life couldn't get better....
How did I get here so fast? Wasn't I 16 like, yesterday? I honestly can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Some years seemed longer than others, and some years were amazing. Some years were so hard that they seem like a blur now. But all of those years made me who I am today. And although my "plan" isn't exactly how I dreamed it up to be, I can honestly say I couldn't be happier. If my 30 year old self could travel back in time to my 16 year old self, I'd say "Be patient and be strong, and trust yourself. You are going to be very pleased with your life when you turn 30". I am actually looking forward to putting my 20's behind me and starting a new decade fresh and living the life I am meant to live. I think my 30's are going to be awesome.

Here are some pictures of my birthday.
